CME Analysis Information (for CME activity ID: 2025-03-17T11:36:00-CME-001)
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Data Level: 1 (0=real-time, 1=real-time and checked by supervising forecaster, 2=retrospective science level data analysis)
Use as primary measurement: true
Measurement Technique: SWPC_CAT
Detecting Instruments:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
Image Type: direct
Speed (km/s): 400.0
Speed measured at height (Rs): None Entered
Type: S
Direction (LON/LAT in HEEQ): 30.0/ -5.0
Half Angular Width (degree): 25.0
Minor Half-width (degree): None Entered
Tilt (degree): None Entered
Time@21.5: 2025-03-17T19:39Z
Info/Session URL: None Entered
Note:
Approximate one-coronagraph analysis with SOHO imagery only since the CME is not in STEREO A COR2A imagery (where it would be near center disk from the perspective of STEREO A). Analysis is based on the assumption that the source of this CME is a small filament eruption centered around N12W30 which starts around 2025-03-17T10:36Z and is best seen in SDO AIA 304.
